Fun Websites
If you have gotten this far, then you may be looking for something fun, not factual. We have rounded up a few of our favorite fun websites to keep you entertained:
- Dumb Laws- In New Hampshire, it is illegal to pick seaweed up off the beaches. In Maine you are supposed to bring a gun to church, in case of Indian attack (Massachusetts has repealed a similar law) For these and other weird laws in every state and country, you have got to check this site out.
- Urban Legends & Folklore - A fine collection of the ever-growing legends spawned by the internet or plain old ignorance.
- The Onion - A fine farce of the Mass Media.
- Kevin & Kell - A nice 'funny animal' comic strip- although you have to be computer literate to get some of the jokes.
- Keenspot Comics - Want to be a cartoonist? Want to see comics which didn't make it into the papers? Check out Keenspot for the largest collection of cartoonist's comics on the web. And maybe you can try to put your own comic on their site.
- The Adventures of Mayberry Melonpool - If you like Star Wars or Star Trek, odds are you will like this funny little comic.
